Is pulling one's hair when angry subject to the same ruling as slapping one's face?

Pulling one's hair out of anger is forbidden if it harms oneself, as it contradicts seeking refuge in Allah and exercising self-control, both of which are commanded during anger. If the reason for it is discontent with Allah's decree, then it is like the prohibitions that scholars have considered major sins, due to its objection to Allah's preordainment.
