"The Absent Truth" by Dr. Farag Fouda, which claims that the application of Islamic Sharia is not a means of reform, is to be warned against. It is refuted by stating that recourse to Allah's law is essential for faith, as Allah Almighty says: "But no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge in what has become confused among them, and then find no discomfort in their souls from what you have decided, and submit in full submission." And as He Almighty says: "The command is for none but Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him." Allah has judged those who do not rule by what He has revealed as disbelievers, wrongdoers, and defiantly disobedient, as stated in the verses of Surat Al-Ma'idah.

He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [copious] showers. And give you increase in wealth and children and make for you gardens and make for you rivers.'" Following personal desires is forbidden.
