What is the Islamic legal ruling regarding a wife remaining with her husband who does not pray, drinks alcohol, watches forbidden channels, and constantly insults her, especially since there is a daughter between them?

If the husband drinks alcohol and abandons prayer, he is in grave danger, and the wife's continued presence with him is clear harm. Prayer is the greatest matter of religion after faith, and abandoning it out of denial expels one from the fold of Islam, while abandoning it out of laziness is considered disbelief by some scholars. Alcohol is the mother of all evils, and drinking it is one of the greatest sins.

The wife is advised to strive in counseling her husband and inviting him to repentance and righteousness. If he repents and becomes righteous, then it is good. Otherwise, she should seek a divorce from him, and if he refuses, she should refer her case to the judge.

The wife is also advised to seek Allah's help, make abundant supplications, and consult with righteous people among her family and relatives to assist her in her tribulation.
