Does immodest display, and the actions resulting from it during Hajj or Umrah—such as wearing conspicuous or tight clothing, adorning oneself with makeup and perfumes, engaging in attention-seeking behaviors, and not adhering to the legal hijab—cause Hajj or Umrah to become invalid?

Transgressions and sins committed during Hajj and Umrah do not invalidate them, but they diminish the reward of the one who commits them, and may prevent them from being a "Hajj Mabroor" (accepted Hajj) or an atoning Umrah. These acts are committed in the pure and revered holy places, which may lead to compounded sins for the perpetrator, as Allah Almighty says: "And whoever intends therein to commit a deviation with injustice - We will make him taste of a painful punishment." (Quran 22:25). Some of these acts may also be among the prohibitions of Ihram which require a fidyah (expiatory offering). Therefore, a Muslim woman should fear Allah and be grateful for His blessings.
