The question

How can God's magnificence be reconciled with the exaggerated reward for deeds, and is the Prophet's promise of Paradise for certain actions, to the exclusion of others, an exaggeration, and why are some retributions equal, such as for a woman who leaves her house perfumed and for an adulteress, and what is the wisdom behind sending abundant blessings upon the Prophet, and is requesting a miracle to reach the truth in accordance with the Sharia?

The answer

The reward for deeds and the multiplication of merits are based on Allah's grace and generosity. The hadiths concerning promises of reward and warnings of punishment depend on the fulfillment of conditions and the absence of impediments. A ruling may be waived due to an impediment or the presence of something that expiates sins. The speed and ability of angels cannot be measured by human standards; rather, they transcend them. Likening some sins to greater ones is for hyperbole and deterrence, not for equating the recompense and punishment. Praying upon the Prophet is an act of worship to Allah and an honor for the Prophet, and a cause for the servant's benefit. It does not contradict other acts of worship. It is advised to turn to Allah and supplicate sincerely, to recite the Quran frequently, to avoid those who spread doubts, and to seek religious knowledge. It is also advised to avoid aggression in supplication, such as asking for miracles, and to frequently recite the supplication: "O Ever-Living, O Sustainer! By Your mercy, I seek Your help" or "O Ever-Living, O Sustainer! By Your mercy, I seek Your help; rectify all my affairs and do not entrust me to myself for the blink of an eye."
