The narration that speaks of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, raising her voice at the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, does not serve as proof for the permissibility of a wife raising her voice. Rather, it describes her father's disapproval, and after his concern, he struck her, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, restrained Abu Bakr from her.
