Does God accept the repentance of a person who strayed from religion, was influenced by atheistic thought, and mocked the Divine Essence and religion, while suffering from psychological illnesses and sexual deviance? And are his previous good deeds, such as Hajj, accepted? And is he required to repeat Hajj? And should he fast Ramadan and pray Tarawih as usual?

It is obligatory to promptly initiate sincere repentance (Tawbah Nasuh), which includes regret, abandoning the sin out of fear of God, and resolving not to return to it. God accepts the repentance of those who repent and shows them mercy, as He Almighty said: "Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy. Indeed, any of you who does wrong ignorantly then repents after that and corrects himself – then indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful" (Al-An'am: 54).

As for the statement that the repentance of one who ridicules God or curses Him is not accepted, this is incorrect. Repentance is accepted and beneficial in the Hereafter by consensus. It is valid in this world according to the majority of scholars. The good deeds performed by an apostate before their apostasy are not invalidated merely by apostasy, but by dying upon it. If one returns to Islam after apostasy, they are not obligated to repeat Hajj, according to the preponderant opinion, though performing it after repentance would be better.

It is necessary to be diligent in performing the Ramadan fast, Tarawih prayers, and all other good deeds, to stay away from the causes of temptation, to seek a righteous environment, to seek knowledge, to recite the Qur'an, and to be constant in supererogatory acts of worship.
