What is the ruling on smoking hashish after performing all the obligatory duties, due to addiction?

The ruling on smoking hashish and other types of smoking is prohibition, due to the impurity and harm they contain. Allah has forbidden everything impure and harmful. Allah Almighty said: "and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the impure" (Al-A'raf: 157). And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There shall be no harm or reciprocating of harm." He also prohibited everything intoxicating and debilitating. It is not permissible for a Muslim to use these things, and whoever has become accustomed to them must give them up and hasten to repent to Allah.
