Is it permissible to give as charity the equivalent value of a chauffeur's one-day wage during which he was compelled to transport alcohol, and by doing so, does his salary become permissible, knowing that the nature of work in this field may necessitate transporting alcohol to other places?

A Muslim must seek out what is lawful in their earnings, as Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, eat from the good things which We have provided for you." Carrying alcohol is forbidden by Islamic law, and a Muslim employee must refrain from carrying it. If the employer insists, the employment contract should be terminated. If the employee carries it, the wages for carrying it will not be permissible for him. If the work involves prohibited acts, he should look for another job, and if he cannot find one, he should fear Allah as much as he is able.
