May I know the ruling on a man using women's perfume?

What is recommended for women's perfume is that its color is visible but its scent is hidden, according to the Hadith of Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him). A woman is forbidden from wearing perfume whose scent can be smelled by others if she leaves her house.

It is permissible for a man to apply perfume from his family's perfume on Friday, even if women's perfume is disliked for men because its color is visible and its scent is hidden. However, it is permitted here out of necessity or need, due to the absence of any other kind.

It is disliked for a man to use perfume specifically for women that is well-known among people, as he might be misunderstood. As for perfumes that do not exhibit this specific characteristic, there is no harm for a man in using them.
