Is it permissible to place the Quran in a car to seek blessings and ward off harm?

There is no doubt that the Mushaf (copy of the Qur'an) possesses great blessings due to its containing the words of Allah, and some Companions sought blessings from it.

Al-Darimi narrated with an authentic chain from Abu Malikah that 'Ikrimah ibn Abi Jahl used to place the Mushaf on his face and say, "The Book of my Lord, the Book of my Lord."

Therefore, there is no harm in placing the Mushaf in a clean spot in the car, while protecting it from impurities and disrespect. It is preferable that, along with seeking blessings, one intends to read it so that it becomes a means of worship.
