What is the ruling on the discharge of brown and yellow fluid outside of the regular menstrual period?

If the brownish discharge appears outside the regular menstrual period, its ruling is detailed as explained in Fatwa no. 102817. Based on that, the ruling for the days of missed fasting and neglected prayers is determined. However, if it appears at the time of the regular menstrual period, then it is considered menses, and only fasting must be made up, not prayers. It is advisable to promptly ask scholars when needed, as Allah Almighty says: {So ask the people of knowledge if you do not know}.
