How authentic are the hadiths which mention that Allah dislikes trivial matters, and what is meant by trivial matters, and does that include concern for food and clothing?

The gist of the Fatwa:

The phrase in the Hadith, "Indeed, Allah is Generous and loves generosity, and He loves lofty morals and dislikes trivial ones," means that Allah loves noble character and dislikes trivial and base matters. Taking primary care of one's appearance, food, and clothing within the limits of Islamic law is not considered trivial; rather, it is encouraged, as stated in the Almighty's words: "O Children of Adam, take your adornment at every place of prostration," and in the Hadith: "Indeed, Allah is beautiful and loves beauty." A Muslim should earn their livelihood through lawful means, but without extravagance or luxury, and without compromising their religion and morals. They should also be graceful in their seeking and not rush for provision by disobeying Allah.
