Is a husband sinful if he becomes angry with one of his wives, goes to the other, and stays with her for weeks?

Allah has permitted polygyny and has made it obligatory to be just among wives in terms of lodging and material provisions like food and clothing. Whoever fears injustice is forbidden from practicing polygyny, in accordance with the Almighty’s saying: "Marry such women as seem good to you, two, three, or four; but if you fear that you will not be able to deal justly [with them], then only one." And whoever inclines towards one of his wives will come on the Day of Resurrection with his side leaning. He must repent and appease the one he wronged.
