Is it permissible to swear by the Injeel (Gospel) and the Tawrat (Torah) with the intention that they are the Holy Books revealed by God, by analogy with the permissibility of swearing by the Quran because it is the word of God, taking into consideration the view of some Malikis who permit it?

Swearing by the Torah and the Gospel is valid according to scholars, because what is meant by them is the word of Allah revealed to Moses and Jesus, not the distorted books. And the word of Allah is one of His attributes, and swearing by His attribute is like [swearing by] His names, as mentioned by Khalil and Ibn Qudamah. Kashshaf al-Qina' emphasized that the absolute use of the oath refers to what was revealed from Allah, not what was altered.
