How does a mother repent from her feeling that she inadvertently afflicts people with the evil eye, and must this matter become permanent for her after occurring once?
The feeling that people are afflicted by the evil eye, without any factual basis for it, should be disregarded so that it does not become an illness. However, if it becomes clear to her that she is truly afflicted by the evil eye, then she must strive against herself and distance herself from that, and seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Shaytan. If she sees something that impresses her, she should supplicate for blessings, such as saying: "Tabarak Allah" (Blessed is Allah) or "Masha'Allah" (What Allah wills), as stated in the noble Prophetic tradition: "If one of you sees something in his brother that impresses him, let him supplicate for blessings for him." The matter is easy, and getting rid of it is possible.
