What should I do when I make mistakes in reciting Quranic verses during unplanned da'wah discussions, and how do I deal with the feeling of confusion?

Calling to Allah, establishing the truth, refuting falsehood, and engaging in gentle argumentation are among the most emphasized religious matters. The Qur'an is the caller's provision and means, as Allah states: ﴿Say, "I only warn you by revelation"﴾ and ﴿Say, "If I should err, I would err only against myself; but if I should be guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me."﴾ and ﴿and strive against them with it a great striving.﴾ To overcome initial hesitation in calling to Allah, one must persevere and frequently revise the Qur'an to strengthen memorization. It is permissible to state the meaning of a verse without quoting its exact wording. We advise striving hard in memorizing the Qur'an, calling to Allah, and striving with it, preparing the topic, and not being ashamed to say: "I do not know."
