Is it permissible for a man to wear perfume, and for its scent to emanate from him, while he is out in the street accompanied by one of his unmarriageable kin (mahrams) or wives?

There is no harm in a man going out perfumed with his wives or Mahrams, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to perfume himself and the scent of musk emanated from him. The prohibition of a woman perfuming herself when she goes out pertains to her, not to whoever is with her.
