Is not Jesus superior to Muhammad, given that he is mentioned more frequently in the Quran, brought the dead to life, and was born through a miraculous birth?

Jesus, son of Mary, is one of the best and greatest prophets in stature and majesty. He is the Word of Allah and His Spirit which He cast unto Mary, and Allah made him eminent in this world and the Hereafter. We, as Muslims, believe in all prophets and messengers and do not differentiate between any of them. We see that belief in all of them distinguishes Islam from other religions.

It is incorrect to believe that Jesus, peace be upon him, is mentioned more often in the Quran than Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. The criterion is not merely the number of times a name appears, but rather the contexts that indicate the intended prophet. The entire Quran is associated with the person of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

The miracle of raising the dead is not exclusive to Jesus alone. Other prophets such as Abraham and Moses shared in it, and similar occurrences happened as a grace to some saints. Moreover, Allah brought inanimate objects back to life for our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, which is more profound in its miraculous nature.

Using the raising of the dead or birth without a father as evidence for the divinity of the Messiah is incorrect, for Adam and Eve were created in stranger ways. If raising the dead were proof of divinity, then Moses, Elisha, Elijah, and Muhammad, peace be upon them, performed greater deeds. The Gospels themselves declare the servitude of the Messiah and that he is a son of man. Ascension to heaven is not proof of divinity, as others have ascended, and angels and the souls of believers ascend, yet this does not remove them from servitude.

Prophecies and divine books agree that Allah is one, without partner, He has no father nor son, self-sufficient, unchanging, nothing like Him among His creation, He does not dwell in them, greater than everything, capable of everything, all-knowing, all-hearing, all-seeing, the Ever-Present Witness, the Eternal and Abiding, the Speaker, truthful in His promise and news, the Self-Sufficient, the Holy, the Peace, the Perfect, the Just.
