Is it possible for a father to ritually safeguard his young children while he is absent from them?

A father can protect his children while he is away from them by supplicating for them, as the supplication of a parent for his child is answered. He can also teach them the prescribed remembrances (adhkar) and encourage them to be diligent in reciting them. It is also permissible for their mother to seek protection for them with Allah's perfect words from every devil, every harmful pest, and every evil eye.
