What are the supplications that protect and preserve a child eleven months old, for whom the Qur’an is played at home so that he becomes accustomed to hearing it, in order for him to be among the righteous and the memorizers of the Book of Allah?

The most important reasons for protection and prevention from ailments are: reliance on Allah, obeying His commands and avoiding His prohibitions, frequent remembrance of Allah and recitation of the Qur'an, especially Surat Al-Baqarah, Ayat Al-Kursiyy before sleep, and the concluding verses of Surat Al-Baqarah. Also, seeking refuge for the child with Allah's perfect words from every devil, every harmful creature, and every evil eye. Furthermore, the child should be protected from movement at sunset, and the house should be purified from crosses, forbidden statues, pictures of living beings, and dogs. It is also recommended to teach the child beneficial knowledge and to memorize the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
