Is it permissible to touch an electronic Mus'haf without wudu' and to enter the restroom with it?

There is no harm in a person who is in a state of minor ritual impurity (muhdith) touching an electronic Quran or one recorded on cassette tapes, because it is not written text. Rather, it is the echo of the reciter's voice, thus resembling the Quran memorized in one's heart. Therefore, it is permissible for a person in a state of minor ritual impurity, a person in a state of major ritual impurity (junub), and a menstruating woman to touch it.
