What is the authenticity of the statements attributed to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the narrations of the Companions concerning the issue that the Quran is uncreated?

The madhhab of the Salaf of the Ummah is that the Holy Quran is the uncreated speech of Allah. The bid‘ah (innovation) of saying that the Quran is created appeared after the era of the Companions, and therefore they did not delve into this issue, contenting themselves with describing the Quran as the speech of Allah. What is narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with an explicit text that the Quran is uncreated, is not authentic, even if this meaning is sound.

The consensus of the Companions, the Tabi‘in, and all of the Ahl al-Sunnah and the Imams of Fiqh is that the Quran is the revealed, uncreated speech of Allah. These wordings are not a hadith from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
