What is the ruling on hanging pictures of children inside the house?

It is not permissible to hang pictures of living beings, whether they are of adults or children, due to the severe prohibition reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "Do not leave any picture without obliterating it, nor any elevated grave without leveling it." Narrated by Muslim. It is obligatory to remove and obliterate or burn these pictures. Hanging them deprives the household of the entry of angels, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, the angels do not enter a house in which there are statues or pictures." Narrated by Ahmad. It is permissible to hang pictures of non-living beings, such as trees, mountains, and natural landscapes.
