To know the amount of financial expiation, you can ask charitable organizations. Its measure is one mudd for each needy person (approximately 650-750 grams). You can distribute the food yourself to the poor, or feed them a lunch and dinner meal, or appoint someone else to do so. It is not permissible to give one expiation to a single needy person; rather, it must be given to ten needy persons, one mudd or its equivalent for each.
