Who are the Wahhabis and what is their call?

The Muslim is obligated to follow the methodology of the righteous predecessors (Salaf al-Salih), which is the path of the People of the Sunnah and the Community (Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah), based on monotheism (Tawhid) and the rejection of polytheism (Shirk). As for the term "Wahhabis," it is applied to the followers of the call of Sheikh Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, may Allah have mercy on him, who propagated pure monotheism and warned against polytheism. His call was in accordance with the Qur'an and the Sunnah and was not a new madhhab (school of thought). One should be wary of those who warn against this call, for they are warning against the truth.
