How can one respond to those who prioritize removing evil with the heart over removing it with the hand, and what is the impact of this methodology—adopted by the Burhaniyya tariqa—on the importance of enjoining good and forbidding evil in Islam?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he is unable, then with his tongue; if he is unable, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith." Changing evil with the hand is obligatory if it cannot be removed by the tongue, and if the one capable of removing it is safe from a greater evil resulting. Leaving evil to persist when one is able to change it with their hand contradicts Allah's command and incurs sin. The Burhaniyya Sufi order deviates from the Quran and Sunnah, and Azhar scholars have warned against associating with it.
