What happened to Mary after Christ, peace be upon him, was raised?

The Qur’an and Sunnah clarified that Mary and her son Jesus, peace be upon them, are a sign for all peoples and a proof of Allah’s power. The Qur’an refuted the divinity of the Messiah, explaining that he is a messenger and a servant of Allah, and that Allah is one and has no son, and that Mary is a truthful one (ṣiddīqah). These texts responded to the Christians who exaggerated concerning the Messiah and his mother. As for stories about Mary's life after Jesus' ascension, her death, and her burial place, there is no answer for them in the two revelations, and what has been reported regarding this is from the narrations of the People of the Book, which are not reliable.
