Is sick leave considered valid when visiting the doctor for a routine pregnancy check-up or for examinations without the presence of an illness?

A pregnant woman's entitlement to sick leave is determined by her contract with the employer or the regulations governing such matters in the medical institution. If the reasons for sick leave include routine prenatal check-ups or examinations, then there is no objection. Otherwise, there is. The contract is the reference for the rules and conditions of wage entitlement, based on the Almighty's saying: "O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts," and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Muslims are bound by their conditions."
