Should a girl, whom Allah has guided to wear the hijab, leave her job, the nature of which requires mixing with strangers, in order to please her fiancé and maintain the pleasure of Allah?

If working in this field is governed by শরী‘আĥ (Islamic law) regulations, then there is no harm in it, especially when there is a حاجَة (need) for it. However, it is preferable to avoid it if there is no need, due to the difficulty of avoiding violations within it, and because the suitor may not desire it. Obedience to the suitor is not obligatory except after the marriage contract.
