What is the ruling on a father who does not spend on his children due to a dispute with their mother, and accuses his children of siding with their mother?

The evidence has converged, and the Ummah has reached a consensus on the obligation of a father to provide for his young children who have no wealth. He sins by neglecting this duty while being able to fulfill it, and he must repent and render this right. Likewise, the wife has rights which he sins by neglecting. The wife must obey her husband and not harm him, and adult children must recognize their father's right to their dutifulness and kindness, even if he is negligent. The wife and children should strive to appease the father and persuade him to return home.
