Will Allah forgive me after all the bad deeds I have committed, and are there examples of people who were of high standing with Allah, then disobeyed Him, repented, and He accepted their repentance?

Sins have bad consequences, but do not despair of Allah’s mercy, for He accepts the repentance of those who repent and rejoices in it, as He Almighty said: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" Treat your feeling of loss with repentance, seeking forgiveness, acquiring beneficial knowledge, keeping company with the righteous, increasing in acts of worship, and striving to earn a lawful living. The pious remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins after committing them, and they do not persist in them. As in the Hadith: "A servant committed a sin and said: 'O Lord, I have committed a sin, so forgive me.' Allah said: 'My servant knows that he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds accountable for sins. I have forgiven My servant.'" And in another Hadith: "He who seeks forgiveness has not persisted, even if he returns [to the sin] seventy times a day." You must make up the obligatory prayers you missed, and if you do not know their number, continue making them up until you are reasonably certain that your obligation has been fulfilled.
