What is the ruling on my past prayers after my repentance from masturbation and the resulting ignorance concerning matters of purity? And what about making up missed prayers and how to deal with gas during prayer? And is the vow I made to abandon masturbation absolved if I do not fulfill it? And what is the ruling on the umrahs I performed in the past? And is there a sin in being attached to my female teacher? And is it obligatory for me to become a da’iyah (caller to Islam) or to acquire religious knowledge for God to forgive me?

We advise you to turn away from whisperings (waswas) and not pay attention to them. Do not concern yourself with what you feel regarding the invalidation of your ablution until you have absolute certainty that your purification has been nullified. As for the prayers, you are not required to make up what you missed out of ignorance. If you wish to make them up, then do what you can, and it suffices to make up two days' worth of prayers with each day. Regarding the oaths you do not remember, the default is that you are free of liability, and expiation is not required unless you are certain of having broken the oath. As for a "lajaj" (insistent) vow, the expiation for a broken oath suffices. Your first and second 'Umrahs, if they had any defect, then the third correct 'Umrah has sufficed and cleared your liability. A man pushing you does not affect the validity of 'Umrah, and you should seek forgiveness. There is no harm in loving your teacher; rather, it is a legitimate love for the sake of Allah. Strive in memorization and seeking religious knowledge, accompany righteous women, and continue in the Quran memorization center. It is not necessary for you to be a da'iyah (caller to Islam) to attain Allah's forgiveness; rather, strive to the best of your ability, have a good opinion of Allah, and abandon the whisperings.
