Do the mistakes of a committed, remorseful girl—such as communicating with a young man, exchanging photos, and singing to him—affect her image in his eyes, and can he bring them up to her after marriage, given her fear of Allah’s punishment?

One should ask Allah for forgiveness and repentance for the fiancée, and that she should increase her istighfar (seeking forgiveness) and righteous deeds; for Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, good deeds do away with ill deeds," and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Have taqwa (fear/awareness) of Allah wherever you may be, and follow up a bad deed with a good deed which will wipe it out." It is also important to note that ignorance of religious rulings is one of the causes of error; for the relationship between an unfamiliar man and woman is not permissible except out of necessity or need, and getting to know each other is not among them. The fiancée should not be preoccupied with her diminished status in the eyes of the young man after her repentance, but rather her concern should be to please her Lord and preserve her status with Him. If the young man proposes marriage, and he is good in his religion and character, then there is no harm in marrying him after performing istikhara (prayer for guidance).
