What is the ruling on saying: "Allah is sufficient for me against the the world and its cycles"?

A Muslim must believe that Allah is the Creator and Ordainer of all things, and that everything that befalls a person is preordained for them. Patience with Allah's decrees is obligatory, and contentment with them is a key to tranquility. It is permissible to supplicate and ask for sufficiency and protection from the vicissitudes of circumstances, provided that this is accompanied by faith in Allah's divine decree and destiny. The best and most complete approach is to adhere to the Prophetic supplications found in the Sunnah, such as seeking refuge in Allah from trials and asking Allah for well-being, as these bring healing and comfort and avoid corrupt meanings like discontentment with Allah's decrees.
