The default assumption regarding your husband is his innocence from accusations, and you must assume the best of him until evidence is established. The husband must avoid anger, as it is from Satan. The money left by the mother is an inheritance that must be distributed among her heirs according to Islamic law, bearing in mind that the mother is like the father in prohibiting the favoritism of one child over others, except with a legitimate reason. No heir is permitted to dispose of the inheritance money without the consent of all adult, mature heirs. If the husband is unjustly deprived of his right in the inheritance, he may take what he can acquire up to the extent of his right (the doctrine of obtaining one's right by force - al-Zafar bil-Haqq). Everyone must fear Allah in dividing the inheritance and beware of injustice. If there is no agreement, the matter should be referred to the judiciary.
