Congregational prayer is required of those who are able to perform it. As for one who is unable to do so due to illness, he is excused and not blamed for his absence. If he seeks the help of others to attend the congregational prayer, he has done well, emulating the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Indeed, a man would be brought, supported between two men, until he was positioned in the row, out of eagerness for the congregational prayer.
