How do I achieve the love of Allah, for I do not feel it?

The love of Allah the Almighty is innate in the heart of every believer, even if they associate others with Him. Everyone who believes in Allah and remembers His blessings loves Him, for humans are naturally inclined to love those who bestow favors upon them.

To remedy hardness of heart and increase love for Allah, it is recommended to remember His blessings, ponder the Qur’an, maintain prayers, frequently engage in glorification (tasbeeh) and supplication (du’a), continuously remember Allah (dhikr), observe supererogatory fasts, give charity (sadaqah), and show mercy to orphans.

It is also desirable to ask Allah for His love, the love of those whom He loves, and the love of deeds that bring one closer to His love.
