What is the ruling on a wife who deceived her husband and his family by not informing him that she had undergone a surgical procedure that prevents conception, and what rights and duties does the husband have towards her as a result?

If the woman or her guardian knows that she is infertile, they are not obligated to inform you of this according to the majority of scholars, even though it is preferable to inform you to achieve the objectives of marriage and avoid discord. The wife’s bad manners do not annul the marriage, and the husband has the right to divorce her if he cannot bear it. A woman working without her husband’s permission is not permissible, and the husband has the right to prevent her, unless she stipulated that in the marriage contract, provided that the work is free from Sharia prohibitions. The husband has the right to prevent her from working and to divorce her or seek khul‘ from her, and he owes the wife her rights of cohabitation with kindness and maintenance.
