Is it permissible for a practitioner of Ruqyah Sharia and some herbs that repel devils to ask for a personal photo of my wife, wearing the legitimate hijab, to determine if she is suffering from sorcery or possession?

It is recommended to seek refuge with Allah, for He answers the supplication of the distressed and removes harm. If the ordinary causes of illness are not apparent, there may be something extraordinary, such as magic or the like. One must seek a righteous raqi (exorcist/healer) who is sound in his creed and morals, and stay away from charlatans and sorcerers. A legitimate raqi does not request a picture of the patient. The wife can perform ruqyah (exorcism/healing) on herself or her husband can perform it on her. Increasing the recitation of the Quran, the remembrance of Allah, and the morning and evening adhkar (supplications) helps in healing.
