What is the ruling on taking the organs of a person whose blood is deemed forfeit, whether out of necessity or not?

Scholars differ on the issue of organ transplantation from a person whose blood is permissible to spill (muhdar ad-dam). Some scholars permit the transplantation of organs from a person whose blood is permissible to spill to an innocent person in dire need (ma'ṣūm muḍṭarr), drawing an analogy to the permissibility of eating the flesh of a person whose blood is permissible to spill in cases of dire necessity. This opinion is preponderant because it is more deserving of the ruling of permissibility, provided it is restricted solely to situations of dire necessity.
