Who are: "those of no carnal desire among men" (ulī l-ʾirbati mina r-rijāl)?

The meaning of the noble verse: "Or those male attendants having no sexual desire" refers to followers and employees who have no desire for women, either because they are simple-minded and do not understand matters related to women, or because they inherently lack sexual desire, or because they are impotent (their phallus does not become erect), or castrated (their phallus is severed). As for "those having sexual desire" (ulu al-irbah), they are those who possess desire and capability concerning women.
