Is it permissible to transfer water designated for drinking in the mosque to homes?

A fatwa was previously issued regarding the ruling on taking water from the mosque for drinking outside of it. If the people of the mosque do not find cold water, then one should refrain from taking water from the mosque, because the default is that the refrigerators were endowed for the people of the mosque, not for the general public.
