What is the full understanding of Allah Almighty's saying: "then do not sit, after the remembrance, with the wrongdoing people"?

The verse prohibits sitting with deniers who distort God's verses. If a person sits with them forgetfully and then remembers, he must leave them, because the sin is lifted from the forgetful person, as stated in the Hadith: "Lifted from my Ummah are error, forgetfulness, and what they are coerced into."
