What is the ruling on a man's emission of madhy (pre-seminal fluid) with desire, and what a woman emits for the same reason, as a result of touching and embracing his wife during the daytime in Ramadan?

Scholars have differed regarding the ruling on one who experiences madhy (pre-seminal fluid) with desire while fasting. The correct view is that it does not invalidate the fast, whether it occurs through foreplay with one's wife or through masturbation, due to the absence of evidence proving that the fast is invalidated by it. This is the madhhab of Abu Hanifa and Ash-Shafi'i, and the choice of Ibn Taymiyyah. The ruling for women in this regard is the same as the ruling for men.
