Has the story of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) promise to Suraqah ibn Malik regarding the bracelets of Kisra been reported in the Sahih, and what is its source? And was it mentioned that Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) dressed Suraqah in his bracelets, belt, and shoes?

The story of Umar ibn al-Khattab adorning Suraqa ibn Malik with the bracelets of Chosroes is not narrated in the Sahih collections, but it was narrated by al-Bayhaqi in Dalail al-Nubuwwah and mentioned by Ibn Kathir in Al-Bidaya. Umar adorned Suraqa with the bracelets of Chosroes after they were brought to him. As for the Prophet's (peace be upon him) promise to Suraqa regarding wearing the bracelets, Ibn Hajar mentioned it in Al-Isaba, transmitted as mursal from Al-Hasan. Al-Shafi'i also mentioned in Al-Umm that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to Suraqa: "It is as if I see you wearing the bracelets of Chosroes."
