Is placing the Mushaf in the bedroom to ward off the whispers of fear from jinn and devils considered an innovation (bid'ah)?

There is no harm in placing the Holy Qur’an in the bedroom or any other room, provided that the place is clean and not disrespected, because there is nothing in Islamic law that prohibits it.
