Iblis wailed four times: when he was cursed, when he was cast down, when Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent as a prophet after a long interval since the previous messengers, and when Surah Al-Fatihah was revealed. This report has been narrated from Mujahid, but it is a matter of the unseen, and its continuous chain of narration back to the Prophet (peace be upon him) has not been established.
