Is it permissible to marry a wealthy woman to ensure a comfortable life?

There is no impediment to a man marrying a woman for a benefit, such as money or to obtain a passport, so long as its conditions are met and its impediments are absent. Care must be taken to ensure the wife is religious and of good character, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "A woman is married for four reasons: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty, and for her religion. So, succeed with the one who is religious, otherwise, you will be a loser."
