What are the benefits that people witness in Hajj?

The benefits of Hajj are numerous, including religious ones through performing the rituals, learning, and spending in the way of Allah; social ones through acquaintance, amity, and good treatment; and worldly ones through commercial and financial gains. Allah Almighty called for witnessing these benefits in His saying: ﴿That they may witness benefits for themselves.﴾ To benefit from Hajj, one must purify their intention for Allah, follow the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in performing the rituals, strive for harmony among Muslims, be gentle with pilgrims, perform the rituals with tranquility and calmness, avoid physical and emotional harm, and keep away from anything that diminishes the reward of Hajj.
